Deeper revelation from the 1st letter to Corinthians
v1- Ah! The reality of being born again in Jesus Christ. We who are regenerated and brought to a new life are indeed a special creation. Very often, we do not realize who we are, but instead consider ourselves like the common people of the world. However, the scriptures are exhorting us to comprehend the new creation that we have become, the special people that we now are, a people who are redeemed by GOD and now recipients of the unlimited favor and blessings of GOD. We are now a peculiar people, a holy nation, and the people of GOD who are in covenant with GOD through Jesus Christ. This happened as we got sanctified and united to the body of Jesus Christ in the spiritual realm. We don’t belong to the old adamic race anymore, since the old man has been put to death and new has come. And this man is drafted into the new race of the second Adam Jesus Christ by the sanctification of the Spirit where the old man was put to death and new man was born again in the similitude and Spirit of Christ through faith. A common trait of all believers across the world is that they call upon the name of Jesus Christ and adore and thank Him for the sacrifice of the Son of GOD for their sins and for opening a way to eternal life.
v2-9- When we at times just think about the grace of GOD that is poured in our lives, we will get overwhelmed by His love. Because despite our unfaithfulness, GOD is faithful. The grace of GOD that is given to us through being in Christ is unfathomable and awesome. And this grace and presence of GOD in our lives is often seen through everything we do, our speech, our knowledge, our thinking which has become so distinct from the ways of the world. We are now enriched in Him, full of Christ and His Spirit running through our veins. In addition to this, the Holy Spirit manifests in our lives through various gifts and signs which testifies that we indeed are sons of GOD through Christ Jesus. And as we wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, with a heart and mind set on the life to come, the unshakeable kingdom, GOD will confirm us unto the end by keeping us blameless until the day of the Lord or the day of His appearing. For the GOD who has drafted you into the body of Christ, is faithful to keep you until the end if you commit your souls unto Him.
