Did you know that time and life is uncertain?, like vapor, appears for a little time, then vanishes away. The end of your life is closer than you think. Consider the cold facts of mortality; every minute 102 people die, 6098 people die every hour and 146,357 people die every day. Sickness, accidents, calamities or tragedies can wipe one out any moment. Have you ever thought about the fragility of life, your ultimate end and the reason for your being? How then are you living? Are you wasting it day by day or do you have a purpose driven life?
C'mon let us face it. Sin is real, sickness is real and death is real. The Bible says "Through sin death entered into this world." There is no dodging these genuine issues of life.
Jesus Christ once asked "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, but lose his own soul?" Are you pursuing the things of this world, but losing your mind in the process? You brought nothing into this world when you were born and it is certain you can carry nothing out with you when you die. Naked you came, naked you will return.
Most people live a delusional life. They are busy watching their favorite TV shows and are carried away by the distractions and the daily mundane activities of life that they rarely pause and ask these questions "what on earth am I born for? what is my ultimate end?" Are you quite content with leading a robotic life with no meaning which includes wake up, work, eat and sleep and the cycle continues. But my beloved friends, there is more to life than this monotonous and meaningless existence.
First of all, we need to realize that fate is not the wheel of this universe and life is not an accidental conglomeration of atoms. Instead, we need to first realize that there is one true GOD who upholds this universe by the word of His power. There is a higher power, an all knowing GOD who created us and HE has a plan for our lives. But most of us question the existence of GOD as if we knew the answers to everything in life. As humans we cannot avoid a common cold, but we pontificate on moral matters. We know that our soul is in deep shambles; can't control our minds, lack self control, lack self restraint, filled with emotional ups and downs, depressed, angry, confused and deep inside is filth and dirt that no one else knows about. Yet we pretend to live as if there is nothing wrong with us.
Some say we have all the answers to the issues of life. If that was the case, let us take a simple example of ageing and death. Why is not man able to stop ageing or death? Is it safe to admit that there are lot of things in life beyond human control and human intelligence? Solomon one of the wisest men who lived on earth once said "I am but a little child; I know not how to go out or come in(1 Kings 3:7). Solomon understood the limitations of his own understanding and submitted before an all powerful GOD who made Him and loved Him. Friends, science or education has only touched the surface level of questions in life, however it knows nothing about the deep things of life. So then what is the solution? Acknowledge our limitations and stop pretending as if we have all the answers. The sooner you learn that you are not in control of anything and know nothing, you are on the road to wisdom. We all began our lives as helpless infants, and realize that even today you need direction to protect your life from pain and trouble. Realize that there is a greater power who upholds and governs this universe. The greatest awakening that can come to any human heart is when a soul becomes aware that he or she is linked to GOD, and that you are a part of GOD, and you came out of GOD. You cannot find satisfaction or completeness apart from GOD. A life without GOD will always remain dissatisfied and empty no matter how much you have achieved in life.
The truth of the matter is we all are wretched, helpless, and perishing; and there is an urgent need for us to know God, in his purity, justice, and truth before it gets too late as there is some danger awaiting us if we don't change direction. What danger you might ask. The danger of being on the receiving end of the wrath of a holy GOD that is going to be revealed one day against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. While you are still alive, you need to make a decision to repent of the ways of unrighteousness and reconcile to GOD so that you may not perish.
No matter how well dressed you are, or how good you smell, realize you are a fallen human being tainted by sin, now needing the redemption of GOD. Your outer deck ups will not eliminate your depravity. Man’s cheap cover ups to hide his feebleness is like pouring cologne over a dead body. What good does it do to pour perfume over a dead body? Dead is dead and it will start to stink soon.
Here is the good news. GOD is ever present to save us from our difficulties and sins, only if you turn to Him. There is an initiative that GOD has created to save our souls. Even though we don't hear much about meaningful life transforming soul growth or transformation through educational system or religion, good news is that there is such initiative that saves your soul and puts priority on soul growth first before saving the environment and the economy. This great initiative is called the gospel.
We present to you that gospel. And that gospel proclaims open enrollment in to the kingdom of GOD at this time. "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of GOD is at hand; repent and believe the good news. The good news is Jesus Christ gave himself as a ransom for all to save humanity from their sinful condition."
Here is the truth. There is one true GOD; This GOD is the Creator of all and HE upholds this universe by the word of His power. All men are sinners; and as such justly condemned, to eternal death. Christ Jesus became incarnate, suffered, and died to redeem us; and, by his grace and Spirit, saves us from our sins if we repent and turn to GOD. He has made a revelation of his kindness to all where instead of punishing mankind for their sins, HE came down in flesh and became a sacrifice for our sins by dying on a cross, buried in a grave and on the 3rd day HE rose again so that now a new human order is created with liberty and freedom from all bondage to sin and death. GOD is inviting us to enter into the new order of mankind in Jesus Christ.
Yes, GOD will turn your life around and will fill your life with His wisdom, favor and blessings. HE will wash you, sanctify you and clear you free from all sin and guilt. You don't have to see a priest or go to a church or temple to repent. Repent right where you are, in your room, right in front of your computer. Look up and humbly say 'GOD, save me from the mess I have made, lift me out from this miry pit.'
If you want a fresh start in your life and a complete reversal of what you've been going through till now, just pray and acknowledge these simple words below.
"GOD, i have messed up. I have sinned against you and ignored your ways. Now, I am tired, weary and almost have given up. I'd like to start fresh and be a new person. Nothing makes sense to me. Open my eyes to your wondrous ways and grant me a revelation of your love toward me in Jesus Christ. Please immerse me in your Spirit and make me a new being, a new person after your own heart. In Jesus Name. Thank You. !"
Be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh. Matt 25:13. Where will you be in the great day of judgment? There are two choices, the vengeance of eternal fire where there will be great suffering and gnashing of teeth. Or the presence of GOD eternally where there is joy forever more. Which one will you choose?
